We set out to make a blend that meets the steak purists and the new school steak lovers somewhere in the middle.  Here you're going to get an awesome dose of coarsely ground black pepper and flaky kosher salt. We went a little off the rails by adding garlic, smoked paprika, and our new best friend, powdered butter to the mix.  

The result is a steak that has that peppery and savory crust every meatatarian (that's a word, right?) has come to know and love. The curveball here is this incredible smoky, garlic butter flavor that comes through ever so slightly that takes the steak to a new level.
