Easy Weeknight Pork Tenderloin: Get ready to make the entire house smell warm and cozy!

Super easy and super delicious!

You know those days when you crave something warm and extremely delicious but the only delivery option you have is a pizza? How much do you wish you could quickly make a simple recipe to satisfy your weeknight cravings. Yes, we know how intimidating it sounds to cook yourself. But trust us, this really simple recipe will help you make a very tender, very tasty pork tenderloin. The quick preparation and roasting in the oven will let you serve this delicious dinner in no time!

Ingredients

This recipe requires very little ingredients. There is no rocket science whatsoever. These are the ingredients that you can easily store. Only the pork tenderloin is what you’ll need to buy and use within a few days but other than that, there are no fancy spices or seasoning.

  • So all you’ll need is a pork tenderloin. You can get a 1.5 lb piece for a very cheap price. Next, you’ll need 2 tbsp. of oil. It’s mostly up to your choice but we recommend olive oil.
  • The last ingredient (yes, last) is what does the magic. It’s our Steak Your Claim spice rub. The amazing spice rub has all the flavors you’ll need for this recipe. It has garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, powdered butter and kosher salt in the perfect proportions. All you have to do is adjust the quantity according to how spicy you’d like the final product to be. The optimum spice level will need around 2 tbsp. of this paste. You may also use a meat thermometer if you’re afraid of overcooking or undercooking the meat.

Process

  1. You’re going to start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Make sure to put the rack in the middle so that your pork tenderloin gets evenly cooked from all sides. Next, you’re going to work with your tenderloin. Remove any strips of fat or silver lines you see. Dry the meat completely with the help of a paper towel.
  2. Use a fork to pierce the meat so the marinade seeps in properly. It will also help cook a tender meat piece. Once you’ve pierced the tenderloin evenly, leave it aside. Now take a bowl. Add your spice rub and a tbsp. of the oil. Mix them together to form a paste. Now rub the paste evenly over your tenderloin and rub it into the meat with your hands. Let it sit.
  3. Meanwhile, take an oven friendly pan. Pour the remaining oil and let it heat on stove. Cook the tenderloin in the pan for a total of 6 minutes till all sides are evenly golden brown. Now place the pan in the oven for 13 to 15 minutes. Turn the tenderloin upside down halfway through the baking.
  4. Remove the tenderloin when it reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It's ok if it seems slightly undercooked as meat has a tenancy to continue cooking for up to 10 minutes after being removed from its heat source.
  5. The last step is to let the tenderloin cool for 10 minutes outside the oven. Slice the meat into ring like pieces and it’s ready to serve!

This recipe is guaranteed to make your house smell super warm and inviting!
